Well.  If you've been reading FS in 2013 you may have realized I wasn't the happiest of campers.  Needless to say I was not sorry to see it go.  It did have its good moments but I'm not gonna lie to you guys, it was one of the most challenging years of my life, and trust me, I've had some doozies.  I've learned to cherish the good, learn from the bad and with all your strength (even if you think you don't have any) keep moving forward.  I've said before that I'll never pretend that life is pretty all the time because that's just not realistic.  I promise to be honest and sometimes I'll be down right frank. But most of the time, I'll try and bring the pretty and inspiring  to you in order to add a moment of happiness to your day.  By you stopping by Fourth Street, it brings a very special moment to mine. Here are some cool links from the three days that are now--2014.

having had two dear friends have new babies recently, this is adorable.
be different, black diamonds are gorgeous.
find a juice shop in your city--this one is fabulous.
start the year off with an incredibly designed office space
friday favorites from likes of us always rock.
let's be real people, no one wants to comb their hair, right?
i ordered this print, and i cannot wait for it to arrive.

..and you must download this free '14 printable calendar.  love!

have a wonderful one.

Happy New Year Jamy! Personally, I prefer blogs that share both the pretty and ugly that life presents. Constant "pretty" isn't realistic and where's the inspiration in that? Life's beauty lies in the ebbs and flows. We don't always see but it's there. Keep doing what you're doing my friend! xo

Happy New Year sweetie! Thanks for your support and I'm glad you agree. I feel the exact same way, inspiration could come from anywhere--good or bad. Here's to 2014! May it be a great one. xo

Happy New Year Jamy! You are the best :) I had one of the worst years also, it was full of a lot of heartache and growing pains. I could not be happier that 2014 has arrived, and even though that doesn't realistically mean all my troubles will go away, it gives me hope for a better year and future! Wishing you the best year Jamy!

Happy New Year to you as well Alecia! It seems 2013 wasn't very kind to a lot of people, I hope 2014 is the exact opposite. Starting off on the right foot is always key so I'm trying to stay positive. I, too, hope you have a fabulous year! xo.

Happy New Year! It is great to have the fresh start and the possibility a new year brings.
I love your "realness" and honesty that gives me an opportunity to know you.
