Please excuse my absence over the past few days, moving in December is one of the most idiotic things one can task upon themselves.  Let's face it, moving anytime of the year is not so fun, but in bitter cold, icy sidewalks, and heavy box after box you have to look at it and say--you did this to yourself.  In any event, besides not having internet yet (panic attack!) it has been quite the adventure.  I hope your weekend, days, hours, minutes, seconds were not as hectic and you've enjoyed everything December is supposed be.  Joyous, merry and bright.  If it hasn't been, you are not a scrooge, you're just human. Here's to a new week.

Thank you so much, Lo. Sometimes I cringe at putting the not so bright and pretty out there. Then I remind myself, life is not shiny J.Crew or perfectly made recipes 99% of the time. I'm glad you liked it, I really appreciate the feedback. xo.

Keep reminding yourself how lovely your new home will be once you are settled. Moving is rough no matter what, it is a process, and you know you will get to the other side.....and what a glorious side it looks like!
Love the quote....

P.S. loved the votive idea (thank you!)and will be making some but had trouble trying to post a comment :/

Thank you, Georgia. I already feel a tad bit better having let it out. I am looking forward to the unpacking and decorating process. Finally, a gallery wall :)

Please do let me know if you make the votive candles, I'm definitely going to try. I'll send a photo of course. xo.
