We all know just how hectic life can get and we often tend to get caught up in the chaos.  Then we go into planning mode which spirals lists of things to do next week, next month, next year and so on.  I was thinking about this over the weekend because we had two trips planned in the span of four days.  One was visiting our niece at college and two is going to NYC tomorrow.  However, they are two things I desperately wanted to do no matter how crazy the travel seemed (mixed with work, errands, packing, etc.,) it all seemed worth it.  It reminded me that it is the day to day that is the story of your life not the vast moments considered special occasions.  Trust me,iIt took me a long time to realize this.  Now I'm more than willing to just go with it because no matter what happens it all adds to the tale that is your life.  No one else's. Why not make it an interesting one?

Yes this is so true. I love that you made these two events priority no matter what! I need to do that! More often than not I always see how things are and that dictates what I do - causes more stress, I think. Hope you are enjoying your time.

Thank you Victoria. I appreciate your kind words. Yes, it's difficult to separate the two but I've just had to force myself to do it. Truth be told, it's much for more this way :)

Thanks Alecia, I'll be sure to gram a lot. There is no other place quite like the city in the fall. I just love it. xo.
