After being surrounded by the lemon and lime trees as well as the natural herb garden that was just below the villa we stayed at in Palm Springs this recipe by Pastry Affair  spoke volumes to me.  It reminded me of the gigantic grapefruit tree that we had in our backyard in Scottsdale.  Jersey used to wait for the grapefruits to fall and bring them in one by one to play with them.  It made me realize that no matter where you live (even if it's 115 degrees in the summer) not to take a moment of the landscape for granted.  At any given moment, you will never know what you may be truly missing.  Enjoy!
