It's Wednesday and where I come from (the Valley of the Sun) a scrumptious mixed drink was usually on order come 6:00PM.  Especially some lovely fresh connection that included, vodka, salt and a little thing we call spring.  This weeks taste recipe, The Salty Dog, is brought to you by Emily of Jelly Toast blog and represents just what those days were like.  Not only a delicious libation, Emily teaches you just how easy it is to whip up in the comfort of your own kitchen if you can't quite make it to hump day happy hour.  Enjoy.

Been doing greyhounds a lot lately. :) For me, it's the nicest way to drink vodka.
