We're human and I think we tend to forget humans are not perfect.  This thought has crossed my mind a lot this week because it's the beginning of a new year.  It's supposed to start with a bang, no?  Whether we were expecting a plethora of inspiration to strike at midnight or for everything to fall magically into place at work or to come up with the idea of all idea's that is going to change it all--we must remember that from December 31st to January 1st is just the next day on the calendar.  Not to take away from the promise that a new year brings but this is just a reminder that change takes time and work.  A lot of work.

On another note.  You are not alone.  It seems like there are quite a few people feeling the same way.  I met with a dear friend last night that I had not had the chance to spend time with over last part of 2012 due to the holiday hoopla and it couldn't of been better timing.  We were on the exact same page.  If you are one of those people that feeling this way as well--spend time with people that understand you.  The ones that love you and relate to you.  And most of all, know that you are not perfect nor should the beginning of 2013 be.  Trust me, you'll feel a lot better about conquering your dreams when the honesty comes pouring through.

You've most likely come across these posts, but in series, they have a powerful thread.
